It's A Trap!

Commissioned by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM), It's A Trap is a short work for solo snare drum (aimed at ABRSM Grade 8 level) in which the performer (over the course of four short movements) approaches the snare drum - as if it is a trap (i.e., a "snare") - disarms it, and then plays triumphantly upon it.
